Self-made model keeps old days of Chenlao Lane

Chenlao Lane, as its name suggests, has been one of the most flourishing lanes in Xiangyang over the century.

The lane has changed significantly with the development of the city. To keep the memory, Ye Xinshan, a resident at Chenlao Lane Community, Fancheng, made a model of the lane for viewing.

Ye Xinshan, aged 67, lived in Chenlao Lane from his childhood. After showing several architectural postgraduates around the ancient buildings in the lane, he spent two or three weeks making a model based on its housing structure.
