On March 23, the Report on Hosting Xiangyang Marathon 2018 was adopted at a meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xiangyang Municipal Committee. Xiangyang Marathon 2018 will take place in mid-October.

Xiangyang Marathon 2018 will have a total of 18,000 participants, including 4,000 full marathon participants, 6,000 half marathon participants and 8,000 health run (7km) participants. Compared to last year, full marathon participants, half marathon participants and health run participants increase by 1,000 apiece.
