An icehouse on a high mountain at an altitude of 1,850 meters in the Whitestone Mountain Scenic Area in Laiyuan County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, has been built and is open to the public, China News reported on Jan. 9.
It was built with nearly 1,000 blocks of ice, and covers an area of 300 square meters, in which tourists can eat sugar-coated haws on a stick, enjoy hot drinks, and take photos with the ice sculptures.
