On November 18, Changji Village from Donggong Town, Xiakou Village, Bu’erping Village, and Sanligang Village from Xunjian Town in Nanzhang County, Xiangyang won the title of “China Landscape Village.”
Previously, the title was given to Manyun Village from Xunjian Town and Machenghe Ancient Village from Donggong Town in Nanzhang County.
Starting from 2007, the selection of “China Landscape Village” is done by the Professional Committee for Protection and Development of Chinese Ancient Village. Currently, the title has been given to 103 villages across the country.
