Wolong Ancient Town Project Breaks Ground

Xiangyang Wolong Ancient Town Project broke ground on June 8.

Having a total investment of around RMB 6.5 billion, Wolong Ancient Town spans over an area of 1.33 square kilometers next to Longzhong Scenic Area. It is a key cultural project in Xiangyang and Hubei as well as a key cultural tourism investment promotion project in Xiangcheng District.

Moreover, the project has been included in the ‘national preferred project library’. After being built up in accordance with the standards of 5A tourism areas, the project is expected to be another strategic highland for Xiangyang’s cultural tourism.
