On March 21, Xiangyang Water Conservancy Working Conference passed the decision to fully implement the city-county-township-village river and reservoir chief system at the end of August.

A few days ago, our city introduced implementation opinions on fully implementing the river and reservoir chief system. Before the end of 2017, our city will establish the city-county-township-village river and reservoir chief system, covering rivers with an area of more than 50 square kilometers as well as medium-sized and above reservoirs. Small reservoirs and rivers with an area of less than 50 square kilometers will be included in the corresponding river and reservoir chief system in various counties (cities and districts).
