22 suspected Islamic State militants have been detained in Turkey following a terror attack at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport.

The suspects were detained in Istanbul and Turkey's western city of Izmir after the attack which has so far killed 42 people.

Turkish media say authorities have identified one of the three suicide bombers as a Russian national with Chechen origins.

So far no group has admitted to carrying out the attack but Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has said the Islamic State was responsible.
