ST. PETERSBURG, Russia, June 23 -- The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has evolved into a platform for its members to carry out cooperation in multiple areas, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Xinhua.
He made the remarks in an hour-long exclusive interview here with Xinhua President Cai Mingzhao ahead of his upcoming state visit to China, which is scheduled for Saturday.
