    China, UK to sign deals worth over £30 bln during Xi's visit

    China and the UK will sign more than £30 billion of business deals during President Xi's state visit this week, which are expected to bring over 3,900 job opportunities to Britain, a press release by the British Embassy in China said on Tuesday.

    The trade and investment deals will cover multiple sectors including creative industries, retail, energy, health and technology, financial services, aerospace and education, according to the statement. 

    Chinese President Xi Jinping is currently in London on his first state visit to the UK.
