    Fires seen, explosions heard at site of Tianjin blasts this morning

    As of 9:20 am on Monday, fires are still seen and new explosions are heard at the center of the blast site in Tianjin, north China. Currently a small group of soldiers from an anti-chemical warfare regiment, with portable air monitoring equipment, has entered into the area to conduct monitoring, according to Xinhua.

    The monitoring results show that benzene and the organic compound indicators are within the standard range, the air quality is normal, according to a recent observation of the chemical emergency rescue team. 

    According to the latest news from the Tianjin Port Group, production at the Tianjin Port has basically been resumed.
