    China’s largest overwater photovoltaic power station generates record high electricity

    The total electricity generated by China’s largest overwater photovoltaic power station hits record high one billion kilowatt hours on July 29. The power generation system, developed with an investment of five billion yuan, is located in east China's Jiangsu Province,occupying 0.4 square kilometers. With total installed capacity of 500 megawatt, it can produce 620 million kilowatt hour electricity annually, which equals to the energy generated by 18,500 tons of standard coal, reducing the carbon dioxide emission of 45,200 tons.
