Recently, Uber triumphs in New York City as the plans to limit the transportation company are abandoned. But seems like it still faces global roadblocks.

In Shanghai, a new regulation on app-based car services has been released, aiming at restraining chauffeurs from driving companies' vehicles for personal financial gain.

After that, Beijing officials had a deep "talk" with both Uber and Didi (a Chinese app-based car service just like Uber), pointing out that there are illegal business practices like tax evasion and illegitimate commercial messages happening on these two platforms.

Though App-based car services are very appealing to customers, it still needs to be improved and regulated in different places before it can really declare victory. As the heated war of App-based car services wages on, do you still want to be an Uber/Didi chauffeur?
