A thief recently broke into an office at night in southwest China’s Mianyang. To his surprise, it was an office of a police station when he found a police uniform. Even so, he still stole 300 yuan from the office and ate some candies on the table. Then he entered an office of the Quality Supervision Bureau where he stole 2,900 yuan and drank some water.The police soon caught the thief by identifying the DNA left in the paper cup and candy wrappers.

Middle-aged woman deceive young men by pretending to be young lady

A 48-year-old woman deceived several young men by pretending to be her 28-year-old daughter in marriage scams.

Xiaoliu, 25, is one of the victims. He has been doing farm work after graduating from high school. He met the woman at a blind date in April this year. The woman told him she was just 28 years old. Since she looked young, Xiaoliu believed what he said and fell in love with her. Several months later, they began talking about getting marriage. Xiaoliu gave her 30,000 yuan as betrothal gift, but the woman repeatedly refused to register for marriage with him, which eventually made him suspect her identity and report her to the police.
