60-yr-old Li Guangzhou watched an open well lid for 3 hours to warn people away after rainstorm flooded the city of Handan in E China's Hebei Tuesday.

Li, a security guard in a nearby residential community, said the lid was opened for drainage and he volunteered to do the job.

He has been praised 'the most handsome well lid hero'.
