BEIJING, July 10 -- The State Council, China's cabinet, announced a reshuffle of some senior government officials on Friday.

Xiao Pei was named vice minister of supervision, and Ni Hong became vice minister of housing and urban-rural development replacing Chen Dawei.

The State Council appointed You Jun and Zhang Yizhen vice minister of human resources and social security while removed Yang Zhiming, He Xian and Hu Xiaoyi from the post.

Yan Xiaoming, who was deputy editor-in-chief of the People's Daily, the Communist Party of China's official newspaper, became head of China National Radio. Wang Qiu was removed from the head of the radio station.
