One man was shot dead and another injured near a residential community in Cangzhou city, Hebei province on Saturday, according to China News Reports.

The two were shot after they left a liquor store by four masked men. One man collapsed immediately and the other, who was injured, ran into a nearby barbershop.

A witness, who works at the beauty salon opposite the barbershop, said she heard three shots. She went outside and saw a man run into the barbershop, followed by four masked gunmen, who later fled in a car.

Local police have offered a reward between 5,000 and 200,000 yuan for vital information about the suspects.
