    'Highway on water' put in service in Three Gorges Reservoir Region

    The 'Highway on water' is put in service in Three Gorges Reservoir Region. (People's Daily/Li Weina)

    The "Highway on water" from Zhaojun Bridge to Gufu Town of Xingshan county in central China's Hubei province was put in service on June 11, 2015. The journey from Xingshan county to Yichang-Badong Expressway will be shortened from one hour to 20 minutes. This 'highway on water' becomes an opening-up road in economic development and the road to fortune for local people.
