NANJING, May 12 -- A Chinese national archive will give public access to 200,000 files recording the soldiers killed in the anti-Japanese War, it announced Tuesday.
All 200,000 files have been digitized and can be read online, according to the Second Historical Archives of China.
The database includes the name, troop, and place and time of death of soldiers who were killed in the battles against the Japanese invasion, according to the archive.
The archive said it opened the database to the public to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the war.
