    Chinese peacekeepers return from Darfur

    JINAN, April 23 -- A total of 120 Chinese officers and soldiers have returned from Sudan's Darfur after an eight-month peacekeeping mission.

    The peacekeepers, part of a 225-strong team, arrived in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province on Wednesday, and the rest of the team will return on April 30.

    The team successfully completed a number of tasks, including building makeshift airports, bridges, roads and defense works.
