NANCHANG, April 6 -- Hailstorms have killed four people and forced relocation of more than 2,800 people in east China's Jiangxi Province, said the provincial civil affairs department.

As of 9 a.m. Monday, the adverse weather that started since Thursday has affected 260,000 people in 24 counties and inflicted direct losses of 150 million yuan (about 24 million U.S. dollars), according to statistics from the department.
