    Chinese president, premier offer wreaths over late Singapore's founding PM

    BEIJING, March 26 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and other leaders on Thursday sent wreaths to the Singaporean Embassy in Beijing to pay respects to Singapore's first prime minister Lee Kuan Yew.

    Lee, Singapore's founding father, died in Singapore early on Monday at the age of 91.
