The sheep is a symbol of peace, harmonious co-existence and tranquility. In this special year the world celebrates the 70th birthday of the United Nations and commemorates the end of the World War II. In the NL, we take these occasions to celebrate peace, freedom and tolerance.
羊是和平、和諧共存與安寧的象征。在這個特殊的年份里，全球將慶祝聯合國70歲生日并紀念二戰結束70周年。在荷蘭，我們借此機會慶祝和平、自由與寬容。
Sheep is also a symbol of the arts. In spring, Dutch Days will be held in several Chinese cities and will offer a good opportunity for Chinese people to experience and enjoy Dutch arts and culture. We will also use the Dutch Days to introduce examples of Dutch creativity and innovation to the wider public.
羊也是藝術的象征。我們將在數個中國城市舉辦春季荷蘭日活動，中國人可以借此機會體驗和欣賞荷蘭的藝術文化。同時，我們也將利用荷蘭日將荷蘭人的創造力和創新典范介紹給更廣泛的大眾。
