BEIJING, Jan. 27 -- Several airlines canceled or postponed flights between China and United States due to a snowstorm ravaging New York on Monday.

Air China said it canceled two flights between Beijing and New York for Tuesday. China Eastern Airlines canceled two flights between Shanghai and New York. China Southern Airlines postponed its Wednesday flights between Guangzhou and New York.

The airlines suggest affected passengers change flights or ask for a refund.

A severe snowstorm started ravaging U.S. northeast on Monday. The U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) forecast the blizzard would last until Tuesday.
