Guangren Temple, also called Lama temple, located in Xi’an, is the only Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Shaanxi Province.

In 1983, it was named a National Key Buddhist Monastery in the Han nationality region by the State Council.

Built in 1705 when the Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) patrolled to Shaanxi, the temple is a witness to Tibetan and Han nationality's national solidification and stability of northwest China. Guangren, the name of the temple means wide-spread kindness in Chinese.
