After twenty years of exploration and evaluation, a super large gold deposit was found in Wuqia County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. As of the end of June, a total of 127 tons of gold reserve has been found, with the potential economic value reaching more than 40 billion yuan. 

The gold reserve was fist found in 1993. Over the past 20 years, 21 gold mineralization belts had been found, with over 200 tons of prospective reserves.
