WUHAN, June 23 -- Four people are trapped in a building in Wuhan City of central China's Hubei Province that caught fire on Monday afternoon, according to local firefighters.

The fire burst out at around 5:30 p.m. in the building of Wuhan Center of Geological Survey at the intersection of Guanggu Street and Jinronggang Road.

Rescue work is under way.
