In 2014, Xi’an will offer two international non-stop flights to Moscow and Paris. It is expected that the flights to Moscow and Paris will be launched on July 1 and in September respectively. Preparations for launching international flights to Central Asia destinations like Almaty are still in progress.

Shaanxi Province has so far launched a total of 13 flights to destinations like South Korea (Seoul, Busan, and Cheju), Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia (Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket), and Finland (Helsinki). It is expected that the passenger throughput will exceed 1 million person-times this year.
