    Australian, Chinese youth celebrate Lunar New Year in Sydney with inspiring performances

    SYDNEY, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Teenagers from China and Australia have celebrated the Lunar New Year Down Under on Monday evening, at an inspiring event which showcased both traditional culture and cutting edge technology.

    China will be celebrating “Chinese New Year”, generally known as “Spring Festival”, on 25 January 2020. It is based on the lunar calendar and usually falls between 21 January and 20 February every year.
